We are happy to add TWO spectacular acts to The Moon Season 3 Premiere!

You know what they say: Good things come in pairs, or threes, or whatever.

It doesn't matter. What does matter is that two fantastic acts have been added to The Moon's already jam-packed lineup of entertainment. This Tuesday, January 18, you can catch both of them for FREE:

The Moon: Season 3 Premiere!

Greetings New Members of the Year 2011!

It is with great pleasure that we kick off season 3 of The Moon and extend an invitation by way of text and image.
Now according to TV rules, season 3 is where things take a turn for the weird as the writers use the perceived stability of the show to stretch out and "experiment with the format".
Let us assure you, that is NOT going to happen here.
So come on down this Tuesday, January 18th to the Royal Oak bar at 8PM. We'll be serving up old-school classic Moon entertainment without any messing around of any sort!

With Special Guests

Host of Hot Tub with Kristen Schaal, BBC4's Penelope: Prince of Pets

Citizen Radio
"Jamie Kilstein is a doofus."-Glenn Beck

Fag Life, The Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival

Muffin Man: The Musical, Camille! Young! Silly!

As always, The Moon is a real live event at night. Please, come and participate in what promises to be entertaining for the duration of the evening.

Your Hosts,
Bob Walles & Nat Towsen

She will be backed by a full jazz band. She will tell stories and sing songs that will make you laugh and cry, sometimes simultaneously. The band she has chosen to have open for her is a tribute band that is called The Sheatles and consists of six adult women. It is not an event to be missed.

WikiLeaks reveal The Moon's TWO new guests for tonight's show

It's in the Times, so we might as well make an official announcement: In addition to the famed and hilarious Christian Finnegan and Free Love Forum, The Moon is also proud to present:

CARLA WESBY, SOPRANO OPERA SINGER
Carla is a member of the Opera Collective, a group whose mission "is to make opera accessible and affordable to the general public". I first heard her singing in the subway station at Times Square, though I was at Penn Station.

NICK PACKARD, BARITONE STANDUP COMEDIAN
Nick is a long-time Friend of The Moon and member of the sketch troupe Gentlemen Party. He has both screened animations and rapped on previous Moons. Tonight he will complete the "Triple Crown," as it is commonly known, by performing standup comedy for your uncontrollable enjoyment.
